About the Event

The honorable Jeffrey E. Turner, Chairman of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners is hosting the 4th Annual Chairman Turner’s International Ball.  This prestigious event will celebrate the rich heritage and diversity within Clayton County.  Clayton County is home to numerous nationalities as well as international businesses with over 60 languages spoken throughout the county.

Due to COVID-19 this year will look a bit different, but the goal is still the same, to celebrate the diversity of Clayton County and to raise funds for a deserving Non-Profit.  The recipient of this year's proceeds is WorldSafe Institute which will be headquartered in Clayton County at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Here are some of the community service programs they have implemented to help make the World, America and the SOUTH SAFE!

  • SafeTeen America-since 2001, they have trained over 10,000 teens in how to drive
  • Cycurity-a program aimed at rescuing internet risks including financial hacking
  • HUMANS CARE-a program to fight sex trafficking
  • VET TRAN- providing transportation to veterans
  • WORLDSAFE- launched with Delta Air Lines and Holiday Inn, WORLDSAFE is a re-emerging platform helping address issues impact people globally
  • Safety App- a new smartphone app that can protect you anywhere you are

Last year nearly 300 people came to enjoy an array of sights and sounds from all over the world represented here in Clayton County, GA.  We hope that you will join us in the celebration and our fundraising efforts to support our event this year.

This event will be following all CDC guidelines and safety measures for events due to the COVID-19 pandemic
