During the scheduled Work Session Regular Board Meeting of the Clayton County Board of Education on Monday, June 24, 2024, Superintendent/CEO of Schools Dr. Anthony W. Smith recommended and received approval for several key leadership appointments. These appointments are pivotal in advancing the district's mission of "Building a Better Tomorrow, Today!"
New Appointments
The following individuals have been appointed to various leadership positions across the district:
1. Dr. Zakaria Watson - Principal, East Clayton Elementary School
2. Mr. Wendell Spann - Acting Principal, Lee Street Elementary School
3. Dr. Tonisha Sullivan-Whitlow - Principal, Mt. Zion Elementary School
4. Ms. Emma Brandy- Principal, Unidos Dual Language Elementary School
5. Dr. Harold Dobbins - Principal, Forest Park Middle School
6. Dr. Sean Antonetti - Assistant Principal, Morrow High School
7. Ms. Patricia Cain-McCrary - Assistant Principal, Mundy's Mill High School
8. Ms. Carie Dean - Coordinator, Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE)
9. Ms. Shelia Gamer - Coordinator, Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE)
10. Ms. Rhonda Love - Coordinator, Social Studies (Secondary)
