Rotary Club of Lake Spivey / Clayton County to use the Clayton County International Park, Lakeview Event Center, and Spivey Splash Waterpark for the purpose of hosting their Georgia Rotary Student Program from 12:00P.M. on September 9, 2022, through 12:00P.M. on September 11, 2022. The anticipated number of people attending the event is 1,500 people.

WHEREAS, a Special Facility Use Request (the “Request”) was received from the Rotary Club of Lake Spivey / Clayton County (the “Promoter”) for use of the Clayton County International Park, Lakeview Event Center, and Spivey Splash Waterpark (the “Facility”) for the purpose of hosting their Georgia Rotary Student Program (“GRSP”) on the (“Event”) on September 9, 2022, through September 11, 2022; and WHEREAS, the Promoter would like to use the International Park Lakeview Event Center, and Spivey Splash Waterpark from 12:00 P.M. on September 9, 2022, through 12:00 P.M. on September 11, 2022; and WHEREAS, the anticipated number of people attending the Event is 1,500 people; and 6.13.c Attachment: 5.3.2022 RES 2022-84- SFU Parks Rec (6505 : RES 2022-84_Rotary Club of Lake Spivey / Clayton County) WHEREAS, since 1946, Rotarians in Georgia have promoted world peace through understanding by offering scholarships to international students for one year of study in Georgia colleges and universities; and WHEREAS, Georgia Rotary Clubs sponsor students recommended by a Rotary Club in their home country and the students become adopted members of a Georgia “host family,” living on-campus at the school they attend; and WHEREAS, in this ambassadorial scholarship program, each year, students from all over the world make friends in the United States and other nations and learn about different cultures and lifestyles; and WHEREAS, Georgia Rotarians believe “Peace is Possible” and through GRSP promotes international goodwill through friendship and understanding;
