Can you share a bit about your background and how long you've been a part of the Clayton County community?
I have been living in the Clayton County (Morrow) since 2012. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. I am a proud parent of a son who attends M.D. Roberts School of the Arts. Go Rams!!!
What do you think are the greatest strengths of Clayton County?
The greatest strengths of Clayton County are the building up of businesses in the Morrow/Jonesboro area and the Chamber of Commerce.
In your opinion, what are some of the biggest challenges facing Clayton County right now?
Some of the challenges the county is facing right now are housing (affordable) and teenagers not having more variety of places to go.
Can you share a memorable experience or event that highlights the sense of community in Clayton County?
The highlight for me in the county is myself becoming a member of the Chamber of Commerce to showcase my business. They had a mixer in January it was a great experience to get out and meet other business owners and entrepreneurs in the county. It was a great networking event.
How do you personally contribute to or engage with the Clayton County community?
I engage in the county by being active in my roles at M.D Roberts, a member of the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce, member of Clayton County Moms and Dads FB page where they offer Small Business Saturday for local businesses in the area to display their business. And of course, being a member of The Best of Clayton County which always has great events or information to share.
