The beautiful, business savvy, and intelligent Erica Dixon was gracious enough to allow me the pleasure to interview her, on video, and in person. Guess what. The video has no sound. Did I just recently discover that? Yup. Hence, the title. It makes me think of the example of having a flat tire. Okay, you have the flat tire. Now what are you going to do? Are you going to stand on the side of the road and cry about it? Hell no. I thought about doing that! But hell no!

Many of you may know Erica Dixon as the Reality TV Personality from VH1's Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. You also might know Erica as the mother of Lil Scappy’s daughter, Emani. Erica also starred in the TV Movie Blaq Gold with Vivica A. Fox (directed and written by Marcello Nine). Erica Dixon has 900K followers on Twitter, over 1 million combined followers on Facebook, and over 3.2 million followers on Instagram. She has built a fashion empire and much more. How did The Best of Clayton County get a sit down with Ms. Erica Dixon?

You can imagine how extraordinarily busy Erica would be. I would say getting a sit down with Erica was 10% persistence, and 90% that Erica is a really super cool person. I wanted to share something very couture with the Clayton County community, something that I only recently found out.

Part of Erica Dixon's fashion empire is right here in Forest Park, GA. Forest Park is where you will find her Klass6 Boutique & Showroom. The clothes are beautiful, stylish, and for EVERY woman. Her audience is nationwide. Her store is part of our Clayton County, GA community. I asked why. Erica said that she went to school here in Forest Park and a piece of her will always be here in Forest Park.

Here is the most awesome part. Yeah, you can order Klass6 awesome clothing online BUT Erica also has the SAME items at her fashion boutique here in Clayton County, GA. Stepping into the Klass6 showroom is like going to the best mall in Georgia for the best outfits, without having to drive 30 minutes to an hour. Here is my story. I wanted something nice to wear for The City of Jonesboro all white soft opening event for the new Broad Street Plaza. I went to Erica's Klass6 online site to browse. I saw a beautiful white dress. I could have ordered it online but I saw that, wow, her storefront boutique is right here in Forest Park, GA.

I felt like I was going on a field trip. If that white dress wasn't there, I was sure I could find another option. And guess what, the beautiful white dress WAS there. I was able to try the dress on, the service was wonderful from the moment I walked in, and Emani was there so that was also cool. I can not say if the clothes are expensive or inexpensive because that is objective to each individual person. I was extremely happy with my dress and how much I paid for it.

Not only has Erica Dixon built a fashion empire, she is also an author to Introducing Southern Bell. Erica co-wrote Introducing Southern Bell with Dr. Kisha L. Walker.

Erica shared how Bell is her as a child. Erica's hope is that Introducing Southern Bell will help young children cope with growing up in situations that may not be the most ideal.

Erica Dixon took an opportunity on reality television and has built a sustaining, solid fashion empire by following her dreams, dreams that she had before reality television. She owns her storefront in the historic downtown district of Forest Park, GA. She is a successful business woman, author, and mother of three beautiful girls.
